Williams AllianceWhat is the Williams Alliance?

The Williams Alliance - Supporting Community Assets To Decrease Alcohol & Drug Abuse is an energized group of 60 plus citizens and agencies organized to prevent and reduce substance use and abuse among youth (and over time, adults).  The Alliance formed in 1991 as Williams Alliance Against Drug Abuse (WAADA).

The Alliance receives funding from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Substance Abuse and Mental Health Administration the in the form of Drug Free Communities Support Program funds.  Recently, the Governor's Office of Children, Youth and Families awarded the Alliance a Strategic Prevention Framework State Incentive Grant.
